Sam Losi is a student of Computational Design.
He attended Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture,
where he received a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Computational Design. Now
pursuing a M.Sc. of Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research(ITECH) at the
University of Stuttgart's ICD, Sam is fascinated by intimate processes of making and is
studying the percieved gap between craft and the computer screen.
The projects featured on this site range from the design of full-scale buildings to the creation of a software that builds a 3D space from images. If you are unsure where to start, take a look at 6-mile Island or Collaborative Weaving, two of the most interesting—that is, after you click, scroll, and drag the point simulation above.
